Ellie's Frozen Fourth Birthday!

Our baby is 4! She is such a kind-hearted, happy little girl, and like all kids in the world, she is obsessed with the movie Frozen. We had such a fun birthday weekend with Grandmas and cousins and friends. Now if only spring were here to stay!

Our winter so far!

Hi! Sorry for the lack of communication! Here are lots of photos of our winter so far. The big news was the large amount of snow we had in late January. We enjoyed several snow days, sledding, playing with friends and snowball fights. Now we are gearing up for Spring, Ellie's birthday and I'm getting very busy with PTA and other volunteer work. Life is good :)

Let your heart be light

Ah the holidays! We are busy like everyone else. Starting new traditions (piano recitals!) and keeping old ones (ornament party, driving around to see lights) and much much more :)  We always get our tree at the same place (Norfolk Farm Market) and we always go to the Ghent Christmas Tree lighting, which is not much more than a Charlie Brown tree, but it makes me smile.  We had a great Thanksgiving in Louisville (I love that city! hills and gorgeous old neighborhoods and parks and the coolest shopping street around) with family and the drive really wasn't that bad :)
