I just wanted to post today so that it will forever be marked February 29 :) And now for some of our latest pictures...
We spent a morning exploring a local farm/petting zoo/hiking trail. Ellie's hair is getting longer and looks very cute in pigtails :) And Spring is so close! I had to include my obligatory flower photo.
The girls are doing well. They are playing more together which is fantastic to see, but they go from BFFs to enemies in 2 seconds flat. I will try to post some video soon so you can see the extremely funny dance routines they put on for us in the evenings. Enjoy your extra day in February and hello almost Spring!

Happy Valentines Day etc..
Happy Belated Valentines Day! We are all dealing with nagging colds and coughs and we didn't do too much yesterday. But over the weekend, Mia and I did make some really cute cards for her classmates this year. I love Family Fun magazine for giving me the great idea !
It is that yucky time of year where Spring is teasing us, but Winter won't go away, and we are cooped up too much, blah. I signed Mia up for a gymnastics class yesterday in the hopes that it will get some of her mischevious energy out :)
Ellie wants to do everything Mia does and has been showing signs of the two-year old tantrums :) I don't remember it starting this early with Mia, so I like to think of Ellie as "advanced". Lets hope we make it through this stage smoothly.
Completely unrelated, but how on earth do we end up with so many unmatched socks? And what am I supposed to do with them?
Oh, I did the Polar Plunge again this year and ran the 5K! In a slow, but steady, 29.56 :) I definitely want to try a few more races this year as I forgot how fun they are (only 5Ks though--nothing crazy).
And I got to spend time with some Rota friends who are in the area, and came to visit. This is turning into a fun, annual event.
Until next time :)

wedding of the year!
I got to spend last weekend celebrating the wedding of one of my best friends. We had an absolutely incredible time and it was one of the most glamorous, beautiful weddings I've ever seen. I was in the wedding and didn't get to take many pictures, but I will share a few of mine and a few that were taken by friends and family. I am so very happy for Delight and Jason and was so honored to be a part of this weekend!

She was glowing and couldn't stop smiling the whole night :)
