The 5 year old Mermaid :)

Happy fifth birthday to our little mermaid Mia! Our five year old loves all things mermaid and dreams of being a mermaid princess living in an underwater castle. She loves going to the pool and riding her bike and being with friends. Her favorite color is still red and she loves pasta and cheerios. She wants to "get a baby of her own" when she grows up and she also wants to be a nurse, a doctor, and a teacher.  She starts kindergarten in a few weeks and we are looking forward to all of the fun that comes with it! We love you so much MerMia!

Quick visit to Johnstown over the 4th :) It was a billion degrees but we still got everyone together for a few hours to visit. Mia and Michelle refused to be in this picture for some unknown reason. One day we will get all of the women in the family!

Kids

This was just a cute picture of Mia's end of the year PreK program. It was a Summer/Beach theme and this was her doing "Surfing USA".

And this is Mia with her BFF who just moved to San Diego. I will miss her family so much. They lived behind us and the girls would have "secret" meetings at the fence and and plan their adventures and sometimes they would just yell/talk at each other for hours over the fence until one of them would come to the other's house :) We hope they move back one day!

I wish I had taken more pictures this year on our annual trip to the Isle of Palms, SC.  But Mia got pneumonia the day before we left and was pretty sick for a few days while we were there, and then Ellie came down with an ear infection, so we were a little bleary eyed and groggy this year :) I did get a few though--here they are.
